The Wisconsin football program added its 11th commitment to the 2025 recruiting class on Wednesday, as three-star athlete Cameron Miller announced his commitment to the Badgers.

The New Jersey native took to social media to make it official.

Here’s a look at the newest addition to the 2025 class and what stands out.

Wisconsin Football Commit Cameron Miller: On the Recruiting Trail

According to the composite rankings, Miller is the No. 423 player in the nation, the No. 67 wide receiver, and the No. 14 player in New Jersey.

Miller tallied 22 total offers before his commitment to UW, with notable programs including Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M, Rutgers, Kentucky, Syracuse, and many others throwing their hat in the ring.

“Definitely the communication, the plan, the culture, great development. They bring a lot to the table,” Miller told Badgernotes when asked what kept him interested in Wisconsin.

With his verbal pledge, Miller is now the first wide receiver commit in the 2025 recruiting cycle for the Badgers.

Scouting Report on Badgers Commit Cameron Miller:

Miller plays both sides of the ball at Winslow Township High School, spending time as a receiver and defensive back. However, he will head to Madison as a slot receiver in Phil Longo’s offense.

In his junior season, Miller recorded 59 catches for 1,342 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense while posting 39 tackles, two TFLs, and two interceptions as a defensive back.

One of the biggest things that jumps off Miller’s highlight tape is his speed and big play ability. He has the vertical speed to take the top off the defense for wide-open catches, but he’s also a YAC monster who can catch the ball and get upfield in a hurry with his lightning-quick acceleration.

As any good slot receiver, Miller has no problem catching passes in traffic. He also has the body control to make adjustments on difficult catches and can also get up to high point the ball in contested catch situations.

Miller is dangerous in the open field. His speed already gives him a leg up, but the 5-foot-11 receiver is shifty and tough to bring down despite his size. He could develop into a great slot option if he adds a bit more size to his 170-pound frame.

Phil Longo loves to incorporate slot receivers into the offense, as was evident last season when Will Pauling led the team in receptions and receiving yards. Miller could develop into a versatile piece and be used as a motion man, set up on screens, or use his straight-line speed and acceleration to get through the secondary.

UW is getting a high-effort receiver with the shiftiness and hands to be a danger in the slot. There’s room to grow, specifically with his frame, but he already possesses some great tools and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him get a bump up in the recruiting rankings before he heads to Madison.

With Miller’s verbal pledge, the Wisconsin football program now holds 11 commitments in the 2025 cycle and the No. 16 recruiting class in the country per the composite rankings.
